[Square Pig]

Hi!
I've been using this thermal cycler for several months now.
and just recently realised that there's a sample tray/retainer set which came with the machine.

When I was first trained to use the machine, I wasnt told to use the retainer set to load my reaction tubes into the machine..(I was trained to just load the reaction tubes directly into the wells of the sample block of the machine)

Im wondering if any of u is using geneamp9700, n do u use the retainer set?
Im wondering whether would it affect the yield of PCR product.
