I  changed two tyrosine residues to two alanines using PCR. when i am writing this, do i say i introduced a double tyrosine mutation or double alanine mutation? reading of various literature has me confused  :)

i would write it thus: two Y -----> A mutations were introduced at sites Y_ and Y_
