Hi,

I am going to immuno-stain our frozen sections with BrdU antibody. We are using the kit from Roche (11 296 736 001). Regarding the fixation, I added roughly 2 mL HCl to bring the 50mM Glycine solution to pH 2.0.

However, some people also use acetic acid for acidification of the ethanol fixative. I am wondering if these different acids will yield different results in the staining? Many thanks for your attention.

Cheers,

Jimmy
