Hi,

I am trying to express a protein in Phaseolus. The problem is I am given around 20 ESTs of the gene and I really don't know which one to choose for cloning into expression vector.I am not even sure if I can directly take some EST and clone it into a expression vector. Please help me.

compare the sequences of all ESTs. This could give lot of information. Choose the ones which is most relevant for your experiment. PCR the clone of choice and clone into vector of choice.
