Hi all,

I am now proceeding to western blot analysis of the protein under my investigation. I have no experience of protein work so any lead or help regarding antibody design/softwares etc would be highly appreciated.....

cheers

Antibody production is expensive, unless you can't find any commercial antibodies (most companies have an antibody finding service that also covers other companies) for your protein, I would go with commercial antibodies.

If not - read "Antibodies : a laboratory manual" Ed Harlow, David Lane.  1988.  It is a good starting manual.
