Hi,
Is it necessary to use a collagen coated plate for the propagation of mammalian cells grown in low serum media????

Only if the specific cells you are trying to grow have problems with adherence.

thank you for your response...
i am trying to culture primary renal cells..the media contains 0.5% FBS..i have not handled renal cells before...
normally primaries have a problem in revival after freezing...so do i go on with normal flasks????
