Hi all,
this is my first post here, and I hope someone knows more than I do... I'm currently using BAC-containing EPI300 cells to induce a higher copy number. I know that you can buy the CopyControl solution separately, but I was just wondering whether anyone knew what the "active ingredient" is (I'm suspecting the 1000x solution contains 10% arabinose...) as I'm doing large preps...

Thanks in advance!

The MSDS should have the names of all ingredients, and should be readily available from the company.  You will most likely only get ranges (i.e. 10-30%, etc.) for the amounts, but it may be a decent place to start.

Thanks for your reply,
unfortunately the only thing the MSDS says is

The Copy Control Induction Solution has mildly reducing properties, but is not known to be hazardous as provided.

I guess I'll just do a test experiment.
