Does anybody worked with 7-Amino-4-methylcoumarin (AMC)?
I had to make calibration of fluorimeter with various concentrations of AMC. It dissolves in DMSO, but for measurement I diluted it in reaction buffer (the same as my samples). AMC immediately precipitated in solution, so I vortexed it to make various concentrations. Is it OK that it precipitated or what should I do? There was no suggestions regarding the subject in the article where I got protocol (from Methods in Enzymology). Thanks for ideas!
