Dear friends, we have a real problem with our DNa gels. The ethidium bromide literally desappears shortly after staining. Does anyone have any experience or any advice to give us? We are really desperated!
Thank you very much

I prefer prestain my gel before electrophoresis. In this way, I can get better picture than staining gel after electrophoresis and signal remains sharp for several hours before it become diffused.  To do this, you simple add EB to your melt gel solution. It also save you time.
