One dumb question: what color of the cell pellets after you guys done with sonication and centrifugation? Mine is quite clear, not white at all. It is relatively transparent, rather than solid white. Shouldn't cell debris be white after lysis? Does this mean that my nuclear extraction is not enough?

Hi Chip,
My pellets have been anything from a pale pink to yellow-green, depending on the cell type and how clean my isolation was. Just run it as-is, and see what turns up.
