Hi everyone!

I'm currently working on an enveloped virus.
I would like to know if anyone has knowledge on a technique to eliminate virus envelope, keeping capsid intact.
My aim is to obtain a core population, after purification on sucrose gradients.
I search for articles on that subject, but it's apararently not a current experiment. I may try detergent such as Triton, but i'm not sure it will let the capsid intact.

There is tons of literature out there on stripping virus envelopes (for example, with NP40 and various amounts of salts).
