measuring OD of S. aureus

I need to measure the OD of S. aureus cultures but am unsure what is 'best' wavelength to use.  have read several papers which have used wavelengths from 400 -600nm.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Generally, OD 600 is used for all bacterial cultures...
