hi
for intracellular staining normally we fix the cells by paraformaldehyde for 1hr but by mistake i left the cells in fixative overnigt. is it going to harm my cells and results?

Probably not. It depends what you're going to do with them. If you're are going to analyse them by FACS they may appear a little smaller compare to usual.
