Hi, I have a general Mol bio question. I'm a U/G in Molecular biology and I'm having a hard time understand about the process of general gene activation and how transgenic systems work. Ie: how a gene of interest gets activated or inactivated by the use of different promoter systems such as the GAL4 system etc. Can any one suggest a good website or something to get this basic information. I'm getting really confused when reading papers which talk about how different transgenic systems work. If I can understand the basics that will be very helpful. Please help me thank!!
