Storage of gel extracted DNA before ligation

Hi everyone

I'm doing cloning and was wondering whether I can store the digested (with restriction enzymes) DNA before ligation. Does stored digested DNA inhibit ligation in any way? Any help please!
We can find answers following our own ideas.

yeah, i have tried doing that and it woks....although, i used up the digested product within a week of preparation..............i dunno if its advisable to store for longer than that!

my friends told me keeping at -20 before ligation should be OK
