qrt-pcr and northern blot ,which way is better?

Hi,

I'm new to microRNA.I want to confirm the deep sequencing results.qrt-pcr and northern blot ,which way is better?

i think qRT-PCR is easier, quicker and "multiplexable"!
one more thing: sensitive!
keep in mind that most of the miRNAs that you can see by qRT-PCR or sequencing WON'T show in northern blot.
that's my opinion

Northern blot---but only if your reads from your library are >10. If few reads they may still show up on the northern blot.
