Hi all,,Iam amplifying specific gen by PCR, I got the product last time ,,but know i got two band , i think of the primer dimer,,what is the solution? is it contamination issue?

Hey, it would be better if you also put the gel pic. need more details. What is the size of the other band?? maybe, last time u did the PCR, the extra band was there, running close to ur desired product and u didnt resolve it well enough (and therefore it appeared as a single band)....
