Well, I'm trying to do some immunostaining on cells transfected with polyI:C using double stranded RNA antibodies.
The problem is that although you can find many papers using Lipofectamine to transfect polyI:C, some of the details I'm missing. I've been following the Invitrogen protocol for DNA transfections, but so far no luck (0.89ug RNA and 2.0ul Lipofectamine for 24 well plates).
Does anyone have any experience how to do it? RNA:Lipofectamine ratio, the amount required for BHK and MCF7 cells, and any other useful advice that might help?
It would be greatly appreciated.
