why the bands migrate lower in the gel EMSA?

Hi all
My first post.

question i have in regards to my EMSA is why the bands migrate lower and lower in the gel as I increase protein concentration?

Where are the lower bands relative to the probe alone? Are they lower or higher? Also, do you use a RNAse/DNAse inhibitor in your reactions?
