Hey all,

I like to make some stable transfected HEK cell lines. I want to use pcDNA3 plasmid containing CMV promoter. One of my coworkers told me about possible methylation and silencing of this promoter.   Is this true?

On the other hand some people told me about cell line that stable express this CMV over years.

So what are your experiences?
