I identified in silico a putative lipid kinase and I need to show that my protein of interest is indeed a phosphoinositide kinase. I expressed the protein in E.coli and I am in the process of purifying it. Now, I would to micelles with PI4P and add radioactive ATP and my protein. Does anybody know how much protein I need to add. Ball park?
