Hi

This is my first time using radiolabels, and I placed my wet gel directly on the lab's storage phosphor screen (molecular dynamics) and exposed overnight. Couldn't see any hot bands when scanning using the STORM imaging system, even though the Geiger counter was picking it up. I later discovered that one should dry the gel down before exposing. Is the storage phosphor screen 'broken' for good? Is there any way to fix it? It has a smeary impression of my gel that won't come off.

Hope someone can help me...I'm in big trouble otherwise! Thanks!!
