Hello everyone,

I would like to define whether some sequences of interest accumulated mutation slowly than flanking regions or faster during evolution; in other words, I have to find out whether their mutation rate is comparable to that of coding or regulation regions (exons, promoters etc.) or to that of non-coding regions (introns, intergenic regions...).

Is there anybody that can suggest me a good paper about this subject (mutation rates at coding and non coding regions, how to calculate the rate etc.)?

Thanks

Marco
