Hi,
I've been culturing keratinocytes using ATCC media, but I have a problem of contamination after about one week of culture. The contamination does not turn the media cloudy or give a smell, but looks like cell debris.
Has anyone encountered this before?

I'd test for mycoplasma.
also, do everything you can to rule out other contaminants, i.e. go over your technique and materials. do you change the filter in your auto-pipettor? etc.
is it possible for you to post a high-res pic of your plate with and without the debris?
