flip book animation- yup it's pretty cool...the hands could be distracting though but I guess--no hands, no flipping so they're a part of the entire production...

could be stretch tho BB-san but it's much like the Japanese puppet theatre- Bunraku- where the puppeteers (3 for each puppet) are as much part of the show and watched also by the audience as the puppets they manipulate. Originally, they wore masks and dark robes so as not to be a distraction but recently- esp the head puppeteer who controls the head- they already wear kimonos and no masks....

well, this knitted frog was made by 'Etsy the Crafty Hedgehog' also dissected, IIRC I posted it earlier or was it in the old forum. Anyway much better than knitted tuques and a nice ornament for every living room wall
