I am looking for a relatively simple protocol (ie. the one in the Boerhinger guide is way too in depth) for doing non-radioactive in situ hybridizations to tissue which has been sectioned in paraffin or polyester wax. Also, I am having a problem with sections done in polyester wax coming loose from the slide glass. I am currently using sigma frost slides and extending the sections in 0.1% gelatin with no heat. Anybody know of a way to keep them stuck.
