Hi,

i'm doing qPCR and know that you have to take some normalization genes in each run.
I wondered which genes, are usually used.
Do somebody has some experience with this? And which genes, did you use?

Hi

you should take a housekeeping gene/constitutive gene for normalization purposes...Genes which would remain unaffected even with different conditions used. ppl use actin, GAPDH etc....i use a mitochondrial ribosomal subunit......depends on the system that you are working on....

Best....

True.
Actin usually works fine but it's not a good choice if your RNA samples weren't treated with DNase before.
Besides, pbgd and h-mrpl, from those that I know.
