Has anyone observed changes in cell morphology (cancer cells) when cultured in DMEM and DMEM/F-12? Is there any reason for this? Thanks!

There might not be morphological changes on culturing in different media, but there could be physiological or gene expression changes that you wouldn't see. It is possible to wean cells onto new mediums if you want to. All you need to do is mix the mediums at different ratios over several passages, so that the cells can adapt.
