Hi,

I am relatively new the field of immunostaining/immunohistochemistry.

Please let me know which antibody is suitable for staining mature glutamatergic neuron.

vGlut 1 or vGlut2 or Glutamate? Are there anything else? Are these developmentally regulated (for example vGlut 1 is seen only in immature neurons?) ?

If I use vGlut2 (IgG) as primary antibody, can I use a secondary antibody that is IgM?

Thanks,

immunocytochemist.
