xChIP qPCR calculation if NoAb ctrl is N.A

Hi All,

How do you calculate the percent input (%input), fold enrichment etc. when your noAb ctrl register N.A (or not detectable) in the result? Do you assume that the NoAb Ct is 40 (or other Ct value)?

The above is only for relative quantification. If it's absolute, is it ok to assume the NoAb as "nil", e.g. zero.

That's a great question...I have the same one! I've been thinking of just extending the number of cycles to 50 and hoping to get some sort of amplification. Hopefully someone will have some insight.
