SDS PAGE:no of lanes senstivity??

Hi

just would like to know if by increaseing number of lanes/wells in a SDS PAGE does it increase sentivity and resolution??? if so, WHY???

well.. in my opinion it can increase sensitivity but i am not sure about resolution.. its like imagine loading 10 molecules in a 6 well and 10 molecules in a 10 well.. A 10 well will have lesser surface area, result, the band being more concentrated thus increasing sensitivity.
For the same reason i say it may not be better in resolution as increse in band compactness or thickness might not resolve closely related imputrities. Otherwise it should not make a big difference whether it is a10 well or not!!!
