i have to do dna extraction using phenol-chloroform. phenol tht we have in lab is ph 4. how do i make a solution of ph 8 for this purpose ? pls help me. thnks in advance

you can find the methods here on protocols online. this link is to procedures:
molecular biology procedures
to prepare phenol, equilibrate with 1M tris, pH 8. in your case, you may want to first equilibrate with dh2o then with 1M tris.
