I was wondering which DAB kit for HRP staining works best. There are so many on the market now, with enhancer solution or without etc. What is your opinion on that, thanx very much for great help. Wish you all great day in labs.

if money is no object then i like the kit from vector.
if it is then just buy dab from sigma and make the solutions that you require.

Hi,
I tried using the DAB from sigma, it does not dissolve, you will have to filter it before use. I did not try the DAB4HCl which is supposed to dissolve completely in Tris HCl. The procedure recommended by sigma is dissolve the DAB in warm ethanol and then dissolve it in PBS pH7.4
Make sure you grind it to powder before use and also filter before use.
