Dear Bioforum community!
I intend to create a transgenic mice which expresses a protein in b-cells. (The transgenic plasmid will consist of: b-cell specific promoter-protein-ires-gfp-HGH) Does anybody have any idea, which b-cell specific promoter is is the best evaluated in vivo in such a mouse model? Does anybody have any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Hello :D Do you want your protein expressed in all B cells, or a specific type? (ie immature vs mature?). The first thing that springs to mind is CD19, but I am not sure what people are routinely using (I did my PhD in B cell development but have switched lineages for my post-doc). Check the literature?
