i want to ask your opinion about the effect of transfecting too much plasmid into hela cells....

because i was on a rush this morning, and accidentally transfected 30ug of plasmid (size is approx. 8.5Kb) instead of 3 ug of plasmid into media with 30ul lipofectamine in 1 ml of media and transfected to hela cells (3x106 cells in 12 ml media).

i wanted to know what can possibly happen to my cells, which i know will overexpress too much of my protein which i will do IP next. can i still continue with the succeding experiments and just decrease the antibody concentration perhaps?
