Hi,
May I know any effective way to remove the particles left on 2D gel surface after SYPRO-Ruby staining, coz I found that this phenomenon causes much influence on the subsequent gel analysis.
Thank you in advance.

i've used this procedure for coomassie sediment on surface of a gel:
with the gel in destaining solution, gently wipe the sediment off of the gel with a kimwipe (saturated with destaining solution, of course).
this situation can be avoided by properly filtering the dye solution before use.
if the dye sedimented (or crystallized) in the gel then you will have to wash it out of the gel.
