Hi I am new in the immunology field, I just thawed one vial Jurkat E6.1 how to spin out dead cells using lymphoprep? helppp.

What percent of cells are non-viable (dead)? Even if you've got significant dead cells, I suggest you not worry about removing the dead cells. These cells easily recover and grow very well. Instead, seed the cells and let the live ones expand. Keep the growth medium volume low (high cell density) at first with at least 10% serum present. Add more medium as the live cells begin to expand (you should see this within 3-4 days). With subsequent passages, the live ones will dilute out the dead cells. Hope all works out.
