Hi,
To harvest bacteria (P. aeruginosa or S. marcescens ) I centrifuge them, but after centrifugation they agglomerate at the bottom of tube and attach to the wall. What is the best method to detach and resuspend them? I vortex (~1500 rpm) them now? Is it a good solution or it is destructive? Based on my experimental procedure, I should use them as soon as possible after harvesting.
