Hello,
I want to clone a cDNA into a vector and add a C-ter His tag to it. My goal is NOT purifying the protein encoded by teh cDNA. Rather, my goal is to detect the expression of the Protein in C elegans by immuno fluorescence.
I planned to attach the His tag directly to the cDNA, but I was told by someone that this may not work and a spacer is needed between the cDNA and the his tag sequence. Is this true?
