When perform CoIP in C.elegans animals, I/ we detect most the endogenous level.
Beginning , now with mammalian cell line, if making stable cell line with a
bait-construct / prey ( any suggestion?) and then do IP. However, not sure
whether endogenous level of expression would be sensitive enough for Co-IP.
However, for quantitative analysis of protein interactions, bait:prey =1:1
molar ratio has been recommended.
So , any comment is greatly appreciated!
