Hi everyone,

Im ordering chemicals for our In-situ hybridisation experiments. From thoose chemicals SDS is going to be used in the hybridisation buffer.

After asking around a bit on the quality needed here I've got the rather strange response that the quality should be: Normal, without RNAses.

I always thought I needed to take extra precautions in order to have my solutions RNAse free. :S

The question then: Molecular biology grade or "Ultra" grade purity SDS ??

PS. And people associated with the respective companies need not reply  ;)

the best,

mordiano
