I recovered DNA from gel by Millipore's kit,It's simple.Cut the band from gel and centrifuge for 10 minutes, but the efficiency is disappointed, only 20% or so. Can anyone reccomend me other methods? Thanks in advance

I had initial problems with DNA extraction from gels. But I have no experience with the millipore kit. In our lab we always use the QIa EX kit by Qiagen. THeir recommendations are good enough. But I always get more than 75% when I use TE buffer (pH 8.0, which is very, very critical).
Guess you should give it a shot.
