I remember seeing an add in Biotechniques a few months back for a millipore?? product that was a filter for plant DNA tissue. From what I remember the user ground the tissue onto the filter for storage and then was able to extract the DNA from the filter. Does anyone know what this is or a related product?

I am working with cotton introgression from wild species. I would like to extract DNA from large numbers of plants, preferably from the field. Any suggestions?

I was looking some more and think that it was probably the Whatman kit.
