Always remove the coverslip inside water/buffer to avoid having to use to much force (capillarity adhesion reasons) that would ruin your tissue.


If it is in fluorescence medium simply place it vertical in a container full of buffer and aggitate in a platform.

If it is non-aquos medium, like tissuetek xylene will remove it, you may also try with acetone.
