Protocol: poly-D-lysine coating of plates for PC12 secretion and transfections

poly-L-Lysine (PLL)or poly-D-lysine (PDL) coating of plates for PC12 secretion and transfections

 

1. Obtain PLL or PDL hydrobromide, Sigma numbers P-6282 or P-6407, 5 mg bottle. Add 50 ml sterile water to the bottle. Final concentration is 0.1 mg/ml.

2. Add 0.5-1 ml PLL or PDL per well. Incubate at least 1 hour at 37oC.

3. Aspirate

3. Wash plate with 2 ml sterile water.

4. You're ready to go.
