| Product Description | VisArray - monitoring spot distribution VisArray is a special glass slide with the standard size of 76 mm x 26 x 1 mm. It is covered with a yellow water sensitive paper on the upper side. This special surface will be stained dark blue by probe droplets impinging on it. It has been developed for the quick and easy control of the microarray spotting process and the detection of array defaults. It helps to visualize droplet distributions, droplet densities and array quality. VisArray should always be used prior to spotting to detect any array defaults. For spotting assessment place the VisArray instead of a microarray slide in the microarraying machine. After spotting retrieve the QC-Slide soon and cover with adhesive tape. Check the droplet pattern and estimate or compare it with the default array pattern. Every VisArray can be labelled with a barcode, which allows you a clear order of your experiments. |
