How to setup control for bisulfite sequencing PCR - (Jun/28/2005 )

It's my first time to sequence bisulfite sequence PCR, so I need set up certain control to monitor the experiment. Is there any positive and neagtive control that I can use?

there is no real need for a positive or negative control in bisulfite seqeuncing, you can however check to see if your conversions have worked by simple restriction digests after your PCR amplification. This is outlined in more detail within the pinned topic here Bisulfite Treatment

I agree with Nick. Controls for bisulfite sequencing is not so critical as for MSP. The most important thing is to make sure the conversion is complete.
