Casein for IF and IP - for blocking (Nov/17/2008 )

I use Casein for Western Blot and I'm quite happy with it and get sharp bands.

I was just wondering if I could use casein for ImmunoFluorescence and Immunoprecipitation experiments too. because my BSA doesn't seem to be blocking well.

as long as you aren't staining for phosphoproteins then you should have no problem. go ahead and use it.
