Dear Lauralee,

I stand corrected, Australia also has no BSE.

We have just batch tested 3 NZ serums and have reserved 75x500ml bottles. This will give us around 1.5/2 years worth of serum........ There was around 30-35% differences even between batches in our very sensitive tests. We believe that the best is worth paying for, and that batch testing is an ESSENTIAL part of any cell culture work and experimentation.
Most researchers I come across buy from the same company BUT use many different batches in their work......could account for the large error bars I see in their presented results.

Kindest regards

Rhombus
