site-directed mutagenesis of lysine - (Jan/30/2007 )

Hi to all best people!

I want to do a site-directed mutagenesis of lysine... anyone can tell me the best aminoacid substitute? and why?

I think that this lysine it's important for intramolecular interactions... please if you can give also reference!
